Monica, a Hampton University and Georgetown University alumna is also the lead instructor and creator of The Compensation Course - A 21st century guide to helping Nurse Practitioners negotiate their dream job! Since its launch, students of The Compensation Course have brought in over 3.5 million dollars in negotiated employment contracts. Monica, a master negotiator, has coached hundreds of new graduate and experienced NPs in contract negotiation, salary negotiation, transition to practice and re-negotiation, and influenced thousands. Through strategies taught at her public speaking events as well as The Compensation Course, The Compensation Bootcamp, masterclasses and challenges, such as the annual “Ask for a Raise” challenge - Monica is on a mission to ensure every NP knows how to ask for what they want - and get it!
